WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a large amount of cash was stolen from a lorry in Swindon.

The incident took place while the lorry was parked on Moredon Road, opposite the row of shops on Blair Parade, at approximately 11.45am on Friday, March 7.

A male suspect was seen loitering around the lorry for a few minutes before entering the cab and removing a white padded envelope which contained almost £2,000 in cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a dark hooded top with a reflective orange worker-style gilet over the top, with black trousers and white trainers.

CCTV stills of a man police would like to speak to in connection with this incident have now been released.
