Kennet and Avon Canal death not suspicious, say Wiltshire Police

Wiltshire Police have confirmed that the discovery of a body in the Kennet and Avon Canal in Devizes last week is not being treated as suspicious.
The body of a man was found in the canal close to the Wharf shortly before 6.45am on Good Friday, April 18.
The deceased was formally identified as Mark Stobbart , 44, of Keepers Road, Devizes.
Officers believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Stobbart's death.
A file will now be prepared for HM Coroner for Wiltshire and Swindon.
A police spokesman said the force's thoughts remained with Mr Stobbart's family.
