RESIDENTS are invited to learn more about pregnancy at a special health talk at the Great Western Hospital on Wednesday, May 7.
Members of the public and staff will find out everything they need to know about conception, pregnancy and labour from consultant obstetrician Dr Nusrat Fazal at the event.
The talk will be held in Lecture Hall 1, The Academy, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
Vimbai Lyons, governance officer, who organised the health talk, said: “Whether you’re thinking of having a baby or are already pregnant, come along, ask questions and chat to others. If you’re interested in midwifery this is an excellent opportunity to learn more and improve your CV.
“The aim of our health talks is to share the wealth of health related knowledge we have with local people.”
