A CONSTRUCTION firm has appeared before a judge accused of health and safety breaches at a pipe laying development.
Cappagh Contractors Construction (London) Ltd face two charges in relation to work on the sewers at Galton Way, Barnfield.
It is alleged they failed to ensure the health and safety of all employees and failed to make a full risk assessment in the four months up to June 11, 2011.
No charges were formally put to the company and they did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday July 11 when the company, which is based in South West London, is expected to enter a plea.
