FRATELLOS boss Anthony Pascarella is relishing the opportunity for his team to claim a treble as they meet Queensfield in next Saturday’s Swindon Advertiser Cup final.

Fratellos had already sewn up the Swindon & District League title and on Saturday also won the Wiltshire County Junior Cup.

A win this weekend would not only make it a trio of titles for the season, but also back-to-back Advertiser Cup wins and a 100 per cent record for their whole campaign.

Pascarella said he thinks winning Saturday’s final would be the perfect way to end what is so far a perfect season.

“This season we’ve won every single game and we don’t want to lose it on the last one,” the Fratellos boss told the Advertiser, “They’re a good team and we’re a good team, I’m expecting a good game, they’re going to be up for this, it’s going to be great day.

“If we play (like we can) I’ve got no doubt we can win it. We’ve won 17 games this season, but it’s a final, one thing I’ve learned about a final is that they don’t always go your way.”

Fratellos have made the final for the last three years, winning last year but losing to Saturday’s opponents Queensfield in 2012. For that final Pascarella and his team treated the game as a big occasion and wore suits, as they lost they decided to take a more low key approach for big games since but that’s not saying they take the Adver Cup lightly.

“We try and do very close to what we do for the league games, a few years ago we all went smart and that and we lost and now we go as normal. The preparation will be the same, talk to the lads and making sure everyone is fit, we try and keep it as normal.

“The lads love it (the Adver Cup), I’ve always loved the Adver Cup because I’ve been involved with it for a long time, the Adver Cup is something special.”

Pascarella picked out striker Dave Slattery as the danger man for his team but stressed the team spirit is what really makes his side such a tough prospect.

“I have brilliant lads, the set of lads are wicked, they’re all friends, there’s nothing bad in them and away from football they’re all just a brilliant lads, we have got some great footballers we really have.

“Dave Slattery is class, a couple of seasons ago he scored 69-70 goals, he wasn’t brilliant yesterday (in the Wiltshire Junior Cup final) but scored two goals, we’ve got some big characters.”

Pascarella is expecting an equally tight match-up like the two league games, where Fratellos came out on top, winning both 2-1.

“It’s going to be similar to how we played them in the league, end-to-end, I imagine the final is going to go exactly the same way, we’ve scored loads of goals, we’re not going to change and they won’t change so it will make for a good final.”

FRATELLOS SQUAD - in their own words

Paul 'Polly' Rothwell (GK) - Clears everything in sight.
Steven Davies (DF) -  Top class centre back who wins everything in the air.
Phillip Coulson (DF) - When he is on his game this boy can play. Probably the fattest player in the District League.
Steve Keir (DF) -  Looks great in our sub suits, pink goalie top and his Buddy the Elf outfit.
Danny Hyde (DF) - Good in the air and composed on the ball.  Loves a team night out but is prone to go missing.
Kev Sandhu (DF) -  He likes a good moan and never stops talking on and off the pitch. Dress sense is ridiculous.
Gio De Sando (MF) -  Technically very good on the ball and delivers pin point set-pieces. Has bad clobber.
Mark Belcher (MF) -  Hard working midfielder. Got the most swag in the team.
Steven Bunting (MF) -  Can ping a ball from anywhere.
Tom Ritchie (MF) -  Talented wide player who can whip in great deliveries.
Darren Coleman (MF) -  Skilful attacking right midfielder. Never pops up ever to any socials off the pitch.
Aaron Webb (MF) -  Accomplished player, should leave the tricks at Futsal.
Aaron Barton (MF) - Is capable of scoring some genius goals.
Ricky Flannagan (MF) -  Pacey winger with shocking end product.
Kenny Hawkins (MF) -  Top goal scorer this season, has a big head.
Warren Fuller (S) -  Spends more time in the kitchen than on a football pitch.
Charlie Grabe (S) -  Egg chasing striker who can skin defenders for fun.
Matt Pratley (S) -  Second fattest player in the league.
Dave Slattery (S) -  Probably the highest scorer in the District League ever.
Ajay Sahota (DF) -  Captain Marvel.  Only centre half in history who's scared to head the ball.
Debbie Howse  -  Team secretary and is the leg work behind Fratellos. She does a lot of the hard work in the backgrounds and a large part of the team success.
Mark Jordan (MF) -  Aged 43 and bald but can still pull the strings in midfield if required.
