New tanning shop The Sol Lounge held a successful launch party on April 17, joining the other health and beauty services already offered by TLC.

The business, in College Road, Trowbridge, is owned by Sammy McHale and Emma Edwards, who also owns TLC salon next door, which has been established for over 12 years.

The Sol Lounge is a new tanning shop with a stand up and lay down sun bed. No appointments are necessary as the new venture operates a walk-in service.

It is fully committed to the implementation of the new sun bed regulations, known as 0.3 output, which means that users will get a healthier, longer-lasting tan.

All staff have had extensive training on the safest ways to use a sun bed and will treat all customers individually, based on what they want to achieve.

The Sol Lounge will be open from 8.30am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-4pm on Saturday. The cost is 65p per minute, or discounts are available on courses booked.
