Wiltshire travel experts share in Queen’s Award

Two Wiltshire businessmen are celebrating after seeing independent company Travel Counsellors win the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Marc Fitchett, from Calne, and Michael Eaves, from Westbury, both run their home-based travel businesses under the umbrella of Travel Counsellors.
The company, which has more than 1,300 travel agents in eight different countries, received the award in recognition of continued growth and overseas expansion.
It has brought its business model, which focuses on providing customers with the highest level of personal service, to overseas markets including Australia, Canada, and Dubai.
Mr Fitchett, 56, who works from his home in Oxford Road and has worked in the travel industry for 11 years, said: “I’m so proud to be part of a company that has received the Queen’s Award for a second time.”
