A pottery painting studio has opened in Chippenham.
Customers of Glazed can choose from a selection of pottery, paint on their own design and leave it to be glazed and kiln fired.
It is run on Gastons Road by Jane Bryant, who has already been contacted by schools, Brownies and care homes and is also available for hen parties and children’s parties.
Glazed opened on April 12 at the former site of Underground Freestyle Sports, which closed down in March.
Mrs Bryant, who lives in Dover Street, worked for a similar company in Swindon for nine years, but decided she would like to run one herself. She moved to Chippenham for a larger location.
Mrs Bryant, 51, said: “It’s a nice, fun place for families to come and do something together. It’s quite a therapeutic thing to do. We’ve had kids in making something for their teacher who’s leaving, and a couple making wedding presents for guests.”
It is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-5pm.
