Team falls in to raise cash for Wiltshire Air Ambulance

A team of skydivers took the plunge to raise almost £17,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

The team of eight, which included the family and friends of a former patient, a member of the charity’s fundraising team and a Wiltshire Air Ambulance paramedic, conquered their nerves and did tandem skydives at Old Sarum Airfield, Salisbury.

Strapped to trained instructors, they jumped out of a plane at 10,000 and 15,000ft, more than two miles up, and raised a total of £16,750 in the process.
