The 1st Aldbourne Brownies were treated to star status and goodie bags on Friday when they officially opened the village’s Co-op following a £315,000 transformation.
Store manager Jo Watson, who cut the ribbon with the Brownies, hopes the shop will be a hub of the community.
She said: “I’m excited about welcoming customers into the new-look store.
“I’m delighted to welcome the Brownies into the store to share in our special day.”
Aldbourne’s latest novelty bin was also unveiled on the day. It was created by Tim Beattie, a partner at West Street Motors.
The interactive mobile phone bin joins Tardis and Dalek-themed bins in the village.
As part of the store redesign the in-store bakery has been extended.
