Floral experts from Melksham showed off their skills with a flower display at Whitehall Garden Centre, Lacock.

The National Association of Flower Arranging Societies is celebrating its 55th anniversary and asked the club to help promote the milestone.

Rosalyn Clarke, chairman of Melksham and District Flower Arrangement Society, said: “Three of us created a modern design because we felt we wanted to show we can move with the times. We had a lot of interest from the general public and we have had good feedback.”

New members are welcome to the next event, an open evening on May 22 at 8pm at the Assembly Hall, featuring TV gardener Jonathan Moseley.
