The Devizes and Roundway in Bloom committee is hoping for fine weather over the weekend of June 21 and 22 as it launches its second open gardens event in the town.
The first event last year was on the only wet weekend of the summer but still attracted hundreds of people to tour gardens taking part.
Some 21 gardeners around the town are participating this year and the proceeds will go to new mayor Sarah Bridewell’s three charities. Tickets cost £5 for adults, with children admitted free, at the town hall, Rosemundy Cottage B&B in London Road, The Wharf Café, Devizes Books, The Emporium in St John’s Street, Hillworth Park Café and Woodborough Garden Centre.
The gardens will be open from noon to 4pm.
