Animal charity fundraiser, Alfie Waker, aged nine, has teamed up with his little brother Charlie to help abandoned Malamute dogs.
The boys will be having a tea and cake sale and raffle on Thursday, May 22, at Bratton Pavilion from 2-5pm to raise funds for Alaskan Malamute Rescue UK.
Mum Hayley Waker said: “A large number of these dogs have been dumped across the country in appalling conditions. They want to do all they can to help.”
Bratton Primary School pupil Alfie said: “I like the dogs because they are good in the snow and we have two at home called Mouse and Morris, they are very friendly.”
Five-year-old Charlie, who also goes to Bratton School, said: “They are very fluffy and fun to be with.”
Alfie has previously raised £2,500 for abandoned horses in May 2013 by cycling 35 miles from the Wadworth Brewery in Devizes to the Horse World charity in Bristol.
