SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION: Boss Foster pens Frome contract

ADRIAN Foster has committed his future to Frome Town by signing a two-year contract at Badgers Hill.
The 43-year-old, who took over as Robins boss in December last year and guided his side from the depths of a relegation dogfight to a comfortable mid-table finish last season, put pen to paper on Saturday.
Foster said: "I’ve really enjoyed it since being at Frome and when the chairman approached me and said the club wanted to discuss a contract, I was really flattered.
"The discussions went really well and there was no hesitation in getting things officially signed.
"It's a signal from the club that they can see what we are trying to achieve, and really, that’s also down to the way the players have responded since Christmas as well.
"With just a couple of additions to the squad I can see us having a great season ahead.”
Chairman Jeremy Alderman added: "We have been speaking to Adrian for the last couple of months about signing a long-term contract and we are really pleased that he sees his future with us, and that he knows we are building something really good at Frome.
"There is no doubting he has been a breath of fresh air since coming in at the tail end of last year and the players have responded to him brilliantly - we can look forward to what we all hope to be a really exciting future."
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Darren Chitty picked up two awards as Frome held their end of season presentation awards last weekend.
Chitty took home the manager's player of the year gong, as well as being voted the supporters' player of the year.
