Residents will be able to see Bradford on Avon’s Historic Core Zone plans and what the project entails again at an open meeting in St Margaret’s Hall on Wednesday.

Presentations will be given by David Moss, chairman of the HCZ, Simon Fisher, chairman of the Town Council HCZ Working Group and Gerald Milward Oliver, director of Bradford on Avon Develop-ment Trust who has been involved in the project since 2008.

The meeting, at 2.15pm, will also serve as an update after Bradford on Avon Area Board reiterated its support for the project at its meeting last Wednesday.

The HCZ aims to ‘rebalance the relationship between pedestrians and vehicles and to reduce the dominance and intimidation of traffic’ and phase one focuses on the Market Street/Church Street junction.

The decision on whether to proceed and to spend money on phase one will be taken by Cllr John Thomson, portfolio holder for highways at Wiltshire Council.
