Two charities which want to improve their premises have received financial support from Devizes Area Board.
At a meeting of the board, a grant was approved for Devizes and District Association for the Disabled for £2,043 to carry out essential electrical works at the Nursteed Centre, which will include new lighting in the main hall and kitchen.
Wiltshire Blind Association was given £4,383 towards the cost of providing a technology resource centre at its new home in the former register office at Browfort.
