CONCERNS are growing for a 63-year-old Swindon man who has mysteriously vanished while on his way to work.
Michael Hartshorne had left his home in Mannington Park, opposite B&Q off Great Western Way, in the early hours of Tuesday morning to make the journey to work, but he never arrived.
There has been no contact between Michael and his family in the time since he was last seen leaving for work at around 5.45am, and they are becoming increasingly worried.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Wiltshire Police can confirm we are currently dealing with a missing person investigation regarding Michael Hartshorne, 63, from Swindon.
“This was reported to us on Tuesday May 27, and Mr Hartshorne was last seen on that day at 5.45am at his home address. He left for work but did not turn up.
“We would urge anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Mr Hartshorne to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.”
