A summer of fun events is planned by supporters of our Give Us A Chance appeal for Devizes Opportunity Centre.

The first date is an open day at Townsend Nursery, Poulshot, near Devizes, on Saturday, June 14, from noon to 3pm with a bouncy castle, barbecue and other activities for all the family.

On July 5 the action is in Rowde when a fete organised by the parish council will donate money to the cause.

The biggest event of all will be on July 26 – the Worton Fun Day with a dog show, exhibition of vintage cars and a circus skills workshop starting at 11am.

The day will feature a sponsored headshave by Anita Gidley from Devizes whose son Reece, nine, was helped by the opportunity centre.

The Worton day is being organised by the family of Isambard Pickford, three, who goes to the centre.

His grandparents Paul and Hilary Hams, who run Hams Transport, want to raise as much money as possible for our appeal.
