Children at Chapmanslade Primary School spent a day learning about Noah. The Open the Book group led a drama in church depicting the story from the Old Testament.
The learning continued in each class with the group coming in to support the craft activities.
Key Stage One made animal masks, Oak class made boats and Redwood class made Doves of Peace carrying decorated twigs. Each pupil also wrote a prayer thinking about the issues in Noah’s story, which were made into a giant rainbow in the hall.
At the end of the day, the whole school went through the story again, going up in turn to place their artwork near the ark.
