THhere was fun for people of all ages at the first Southwick Model Railway show on Saturday, at Southwick Village Hall.
The event, organised by West Wilts Gauge 0 Group, had more than 100 visitors, with the show including a range of layouts and demonstrations.
It was the first time the event had been held at Southwick. It precedes the group’s main model railway show at the Paragon Hall in Westbury, now in its 15th year, set for November 8.
Group organiser John Cruse said: “There were a good variety of layouts, including one member’s gauge 0 test track, and for a small show it was a great turnout. Lots of families from the village supported the event. We’d like to attract more members, so anyone who is interested in joining should get in touch.”
