STUDENTS and staff are getting ready for this year’s summer fayre at Highworth Warneford organised by the Parent Teacher Association.

On June 21 visitors to the school from 11am to 3pm can enjoy a myriad of activities from stalls, to a raffle, a tombola, to smoothies you pedal to churn and all sorts of different games and activities.

But the highlight of the day will be the Pegasus Parachute Display team who will fill the sky in a weather dependent performance.

There will also be a Teddy Bear Parachute Jump, with a competition to win a jump for its owner.

The display parachutists will carry the teddies with them in the plane and launch them, when they are under canopy, to float gently down to the ground.

The teddy will then receive a certificate to keep.

Other attractions will include the famous Warneford Big Band, craft stalls, cheerleaders and a barbecue.

It will cost £5 a pitch for the car boot sale, and £10 a table for a craft stall.

Entry to the teddy bear parachute jump competition will cost £1.

Money raised during the day will be ploughed back into the school.
