A local man who died after falling from a Trowbridge multi-storey car park yesterday has been named by police.
Anthony Wyllie, 51, of Bradley Road, Trowbridge, was found seriously injured by the entrance to the St Stephen’s Place car park at 1pm.
He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath by ambulance, and died at about 3.30pm. His family have been informed.
The car park was temporarily closed for around three hours while police conducted their investigations.
The death of Mr Wyllie, who was known as Tony, is not being treated as suspicious, but police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area between noon and 1pm.
