A MAN who was accused of repeatedly assaulting a woman has been cleared after the charges against him were dropped.
William Hall pleaded not guilty to six counts of actual bodily harm and one of common assault when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
After hearing the 41-year-old deny the allegations prosecutors offered no evidence and the judge returned formal verdicts of not guilty.
Hall, of Cricklade Road, had been accused of repeatedly assaulting the same woman between November last year and Tuesday May 6.
