HILPERTON sprinter Danny Talbot finished eighth in the men's 100m at the Diamond League meeting in Oslo last night.
Talbot clocked 10.31 as Richard Thompson, of Trinidad, won the race in 10.02 seconds. Britain's Adam Gemili finished third in a time of 10.11 seconds to finish behind France's Jimmy Vicaut (10.04).
Great Britain's Richard Kilty was just ahead of Talbot in seventh in 10.29 at the Bislett Stadion.
Talbot, who went top of the British rankings for 200m this season with victory in 20.36 seconds at the Memorial Josefa Odložila meeting in Prague on Monday, said on Twitter: " Bit too tired after racing Monday but so good to be apart of a 100m Diamond League race!
"Time to get some rest and prepare for the next race.''
Talbot, who has been selected for the 100m at the European Team Championships in Germany next week, is still waiting to hear if he has earned selection for England for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next month.
