Trowbridge pupil, 12, denies arson charge

A 12-year-old schoolboy has attended court accused of setting fire to a toilet block at Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge.

The child, from Bradford on Avon, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of arson.

The toilet block at the college was destroyed by fire on March 26 this year.

The accused boy attended Chippenham Youth Court on Tuesday and will face trial there on September 29.
