MCDONALD’S has applied for a premises licence which will allow it to serve hot food and drink 24 hours a day at its new restaurant in Abbots Cross.
Swindon Council granted planning permission for a seventh burger joint from in March and will now decide this licence.
The application was made last Friday and anyone who wishes to make representations must make them in writing before Friday, July 11.
The two-storey restaurant and drive-thru will be built on the boarded-up former site of the Abbots Cross petrol station, with traffic entering the site from Great Western Way.
