Firm bids for Post Office

This Is Wiltshire: Firm bids for Post Office Firm bids for Post Office

Chippenham's former post office in Market Place may become an accountant’s office, if a planning application by Primeco gets the go ahead.

The 895 sqm building at 41-43 Market Place, which housed the Post Office since it was built in 1959, has been empty since December 2012.

LDPC planning consultants said the new service would need 42 parking spaces, an increase of six, which they believed could be “readily accommodated within existing town centre parking facilities”.

Comments to Wiltshire Council are invited by July 3, reference 14/05129/FUL.
