Olive trader Chris Lugg had something in common with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, when he met her at the Bath and West Show.
Mr Lugg lives in Bromham while the Duchess visited the village with her husband Prince Charles in 2007 on a Royal engagement.
Mr Lugg said: “The Duchess asked me where I was from and when I said Bromham she knew where it was and she knew about Devizes.
"She said it was good to see small traders like me flourishing. It was a huge honour to meet her as out of 80 stalls in the food court I understand she went to three and I was one of them.”
Mr Lugg took over the Olives ‘n’ Stuff business two years ago and trades at Devizes market on Thursdays and Chippenham market on Saturdays. This was first time as a trader at the Bath and West Show.
