Abbeyfield School students in Chippenham have raised nearly £1,000 for their chosen charity Meningitis Now.
Pupils from Alfred House have given £960 to the charity which funds research and offers support to those affected by the disease.
The teens raised the cash through weeks of activities over the past two years, including baking, dancing, playing sport, holding raffles, dressing up and having their legs waxed. A talent show was the highlight for many students and staff.
Teacher Rachael Haig-Williams, head of Alfred House, said: “I am delighted with the amount of money raised.
“I was really pleased to have the charity come to the school to accept the monies and give a talk on how they will be used to make a difference in the lives of others.”
