Three days of community arts are heading to Chippenham, headlined by international touring troupe of clowns Le Navet Bete.
Chippenham Community Arts Festival will take place from July 18 to 20.
It follows the inuagural Chippenham Drama Festival last year. As well as plays, spoken word and visual arts, there will be comedy, dance, cabaret, film and music.
There will be performances from Chippenham’s Green Stag Youth Theatre, the festival off-shoot of Hardenhuish School, plus double act Avent and Monie, Knives Out, Bootleg Theatre and Noonday Demons.
Organiser and Harden-huish teacher Duncan Ellis said: “It will be primarily local groups and performers, with contributions from all age groups.”
Shows will be at Yelde Hall, St Andrew’s Hall, The Cause and Citadel, plus outdoors at the Buttercross and others.
Tickets from Chippenham Community and Visitor Information Centre, in High Street, and on (01249) 665970.
