Police are appealing for witnesses after what is thought to be the same man stole £3,000-worth of items from the Waitrose store in Marlborough.

A man, who has been caught on CCTV cameras, has been into the High Street supermarket and stolen a large number of items.

Each time, the man has left with about £1,000 worth of goods - stealing around £3,000 worth of items in total.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 40-50, approximately 5ft 10ins with a shaven head. He sometimes wears glasses.

The first incident took place on May 14 at about 9.50am when the suspect was wearing a blue baseball cap, a bright blue waterproof jacket, dark blue jeans and black Adidas trainers.

The second incident took place on May 29 at about 9.10am when he was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a black coat and blue jeans.

The third incident took place on June 13 at about 11.15am.

This time the suspect was wearing a white T-shirt and he was seen removing his hat and sunglasses when he left the store.

Each time, the man selects various beauty products, electric toothbrushes and other items before leaving the store without making any attempt to pay for them.
