The cute and exotic of the animal kingdom will return to Chippenham on July 26 for the second Children’s Mega Zoo.
Special guest at this year’s event in the Neeld Hall will be a seven-foot albino Burmese python.
Visitors will get the chance to name the snake as she is a new addition to The Wild Animal Centre, which provides the mobile zoo.
There will be the chance to feed, pet and groom some of the animals and reptiles, which include fluffy chicks, ducklings, rabbits and chincillas as well as the more unusual meerkats, racoons, porcupines, monitor lizards, bearded dragons and skunks.
The event is being organised by Chippenham Town Council. Emma King, tourism, events and PR manalways proves popular with local families.”
Mayor of Chippenham John Scragg will open the event, which runs from 10am to 3pm on July 26 in the Neeld Hall. Entrance is £1, with under fives free.
