A ‘FOXY Hunters’ calendar produced by Trowbridge photographer David Betteridge has raised £12,000 for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Featuring horse riders in risqué poses the calendar, first published in 2010, was the idea of Mr Betteridge when his friend Maria Badder was seriously injured during a team chase event at Newbury and was airlifted to hospital.

It was set up to raise funds for Hampshire and IOW Air Ambulance and Wiltshire Air Ambulance, with this year’s calendar raising £24,000 to be split equally between the two services.

The calendar has a Facebook page promoting it, which currently has just under 200,000 followers. Mr Betteridge said he now gets orders from around the world.

Mr Betteridge, who is shooting the 2015 calendar, said: “Over the five years the calendar has been published the amounts raised have increased year-on-year and I could sell as many as I could print this year.”

The sixth Foxy Hunters calendar is on sale in August. See: www.foxyhunters.co.uk
