Wiltshire Police to restore call systems
4:15pm Monday 4th August 2014 in By Staff reporter
Wiltshire Police are working to restore both their 999 and 101 call systems.
All 999 emergency calls are now being handled by Wiltshire Police. Calls were previously being routed to Gloucestershire Police.
All 101 (non-emergency) calls are likely to be fully restored by 4.30pm today.
In the meantime, Wiltshire Police are asking the public to only use the 999 number if your call is an emergency. For non-emergency calls, please do not call 101 as this service is temporarily out of use. BT are still working to resolve the issue.
Wiltshire Police would like to thank the public for their patience and will provide further updates if necessary.
