A NEW opticians opens in Chippenham today, meaning all Borough Parade’s 28 units are now fully let.

Vision Express will open opposite The Body Shop and next door to EE, close to the centre’s High Street entrance and to rival optician Specsavers.

Dominic Moore, of Mountgrange which asset manages Borough Parade, said: “The new Vision Express store is looking fantastic and is a great addition to the centre’s line up.

“Chippenham is thriving with new shops, restaurants and businesses opening all the time and we’re very proud that Borough Parade is at the forefront of this transformation.”

Though open from today, Vision Express will be officially opened on Saturday at 11.30am by a representative of the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust, which is the Chippenham’s store nominated charity partner.

The ribbon will be cut by Richard Price, 33, of Bedminster, Bristol, who survived a rare form of eye cancer, unilateral retinoblastoma. He was diagnosed at the age of two and has since had his eye removed and been fitted with an artificial eye.
