RUH is among the UK’s safest
The Royal United Hospital in Bath is one of the lowest risk hospitals in the country, according to the latest information published by the Care Quality Commission.
The CQC’s intelligent monitoring report assesses the hospital against 82 key indicators, each of which is classed as being ‘no evidence of risk’, ‘risk’ or ‘elevated risk’ in relation to whether services are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led.
As the RUH has been recently inspected it has not been assigned to one of the six risk bands but the RUH says its analysis shows that it has a risk score of two out of a possible 164, which would put it in Band 6, the lowest risk group.
- The Friends of the RUH are seeking donations to help add the finishing touches to their brand new coffee shop at the hospital.
The coffee shop has been there for nearly 60 years but it will be moving into the heart of the hospital at the end of September. It will be completely refurbished.
