STEPHANIE Millward claimed her third and fourth gold medals of the IPC European Championships in Eindhoven today.

Box's Millward, already the champion in the women's S9 100m and 400m freestyle events earlier in the week, followed up yesterday's silver in the women's S9 200m individual medley, with a storming win in the 100m backstroke, one of her favoured events.

The 32 year old world champion touched home in 1:10.98 to claim her third individual title and said: “I feel amazing. It was my most favourite race. I love doing it. I love swimming it. I love everything about it and when you come home first it’s the best.

“My start was perfect and then I was able to watch both swimmers which meant that I didn’t have to go out too hard.”

Millward then teamed up with fellow Saturday gold medallists Steph Slater and Susie Rodgers, plus Alice Tai to win the gold in the 4x100m free relay (34 point).
