John Bentley School staff are delighted with its successful A-level results.

With over 30 per cent of entries achieving A*- A grades and nearly 50 per cent being grade B or better, our Year 13 students surpassed their aspirational targets many times over and have made us all very proud.

In terms of destinations, 100 per cent of our students will be entering Higher Education or Further Education, taking a Gap Year or starting employment.

The majority will progress to university with nearly 10 per cent starting courses at prestigious Russell Group universities.

With a strong performance by our Year 12 students, we look forward to continued success next year.

The school’s principal, Laura Carleton, said: "I am delighted with these amazing results which are testament to just how hard the students have worked and to the support they have been given both by our highly skilled staff and by their families, who have been quietly supporting them behind the scenes.

"We wish them the very best for their future studies and careers, and look forward to welcoming them back as successful JBS alumni in the future.”

Ruth Wood, director of Post 16, said: "These results show just how hard the students at The John Bentley School work to achieve - and exceed - their goals.

"This is an exciting time for them as they take their next steps, whether in education or in employment, and I am confident that they will go on to achieve even greater success in the future with the many opportunities that they now have available to them.”
