Shooting enthusiast made contribution to student life

FORMER Sheldon pupil Oliver Fielding has been awarded the Dent Silver Trophy from the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester.

The trophy is awarded to the student who has made the greatest contribution to the life of the university in the previous year.

Mr Fielding, 21, was captain and later chairman of the shooting team and launched a field sports society. When living in Chippenham, he did work experience as a gamekeeper on the Hartham Park Estate. He is about to start as a rural surveyor with Savills.
