An anonymous donation of £10,000 has helped create new play zones for children at Luckington School.
The school, which has been busy raising funds for the project, also received a donation of wildflower seeds from Prince Charles’s residence, Highgrove House, plus tree trunks from Westonbirt Arboretum.
The new play zones, which were opened on Friday, have completely transformed the grounds.
Headteacher Julia Hind said: “It is wonderful to see the children so engrossed in their play activities and, of course, learning as they play.”
The new attractions include a water play zone, an imagination zone and a sensory garden with wildflower areas. Pupils previously only had dated climbing equipment and a Tarmac sports surface.
