STONAR School made its debut in this month’s Tatler magazine, as part of its school guide.
The magazine gives the school in Atworth, Melksham, a glowing review and praises headteacher Toby Nutt as being ‘savvy’ and having ‘big plans’.
The review features in the South-West and Wales public school section and reads: “We’ll politely say that Stonar had a reputation as being a place for horsey, less academic girls. The first assumption is correct as none can hold a candle to Stonar’s brilliant equestrian education and its internationally renowned facilities.”
The article also adds: “Academically girls flourish as a result of the excellent pastoral care and small classes.”
Headteacher Toby Nutt said: “The review is spot on in terms of the unique education Stonar offers and refreshingly candid about misper- ceptions. It has given a big boost to staff, pupils and parents, who are justifiably proud of their school.”
