KENNET Valley Hall in Lockeridge has gone digital thanks to a £800 grant from Marlborough Area Board.
The hall had been using a traditional lock system with the booking secretary issuing and collecting the keys but the committee decided on an upgrade when she announced her retirement.
The new system was unveiled at a small ceremony last month and now anyone booking the hall will now be issued with a PIN number, which expires once the booking is completed, and can gain access to the hall using a keypad.
