Patients of the Savernake Hospital falls clinic will benefit from equipment paid for with a £1,211 grant.
The money, donated by the Friends of Savernake Hosp-ital and the Community, will buy a balance beam and rocker board for the unit, which assists people who have had a fall and balance-impaired patients. Other new equipment helps in learning to walk up and down stairs and how to get up safely after a fall.
Support worker Hayley Wylie said: “Variety is so important, which are why the equipment is so welcome.”
