People suffering from sight loss can benefit from support sessions at Marlborough Fire Station next month.

The free two-day Finding Your Feet course, run by Action for Blind People, is designed to support visually impaired people of all ages, in overcoming fear of isolation and helping them adjust to sight loss.

The programme includes specialised workshops delivered by expert facilitators who have either a personal experience or a professional understanding of visual impairment.

Action for Blind People also encourages partners and friends who are affected by the issues of sight loss to attend.

The sessions are being held on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20 between 9.45am and 4.15pm.

For more information and to book onto the Action for Blind People course, phone the charity’s Wiltshire team on 01722 345440 or email Salisbury@actionforblindpeople.org.uk
