POLICE are appealing for help after thousands of pounds worth of designer sunglasses were stolen from a Boots shop in Swindon.

At about 11.30am on Saturday, July 11, an elderly man entered Boots in the Brunel Plaza and selected a number of Ray-Ban sunglasses from the shelf.

He concealed these in his jacket and left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.

Later the same day, at about 4.30pm, a second elderly man entered the store , selected sunglasses from the shelf, and left without making any attempt to pay for them.

The first man is described as white, approximately 65-years-old, of slim build with short grey hair. He was wearing a brown blazer or jacket, with a pale pink or white polo shirt, grey trousers and black shoes.

Police have issued CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in relation to these incidents.
