A SWINDON van driver was involved in an collision near Devizes in which a man was seriously hurt.
The van, a Ford Transit, and a Vauxhall Corsa collided on the A361 at the junction with Blackland, near Devizes, on Monday.
Police were called after the incident at 4.25pm and the road between the junction and Beckhampton Roundabout was closed for five hours.A Wiltshire Police spokesman said the van was heading from Devizes to Beckhampton and the Vauxhall Corsa was leaving the junction for Blackland, which leads to the A4 for Calne, when the collision happened.
The Corsa driver, a man aged 66 from Devizes, was taken to hospital suffering serious injuries.
Police said the van driver, a 26-year-old man from Swindon, suffered minor injuries.
