A MOVE for Leeds United forward Nicky Ajose today is doubtful, the Adver understands, with Coventry reportedly showing interest.
A report in the Yorkshire Evening Post this morning claimed that United's forward is wanted by fellow League One outfit Coventry on a loan deal.
The 23-year-old, who was on loan at Crewe last year, has not featured for Uwe Rosler's side this season and Coventry appear to have made a move.
However, as reported by the Adver earlier this summer, Leeds are only interested in a permanent deal for Ajose that covers the cost of paying up the remaining two years on his contract.
The Adver have been led to believe this morning by sources close to the player that a deal to move to Swindon is not likely today, with Town manager Mark Cooper also pouring cold water on the deal following Ajose being spotted at Swindon’s game with Bury.
