TWO people had to be cut free from the wreckage of a car following a two vehicle crash near Castle Combe, before being taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries.
The incident happened at 7.45pm on Sunday (May 22), when a Volkswagen Tiguan and a Renault Traffic campervan collided on the A420 at the junction with the B4039 near to Castle Combe.
Two fire crews from Chippenham attended the scene – along with paramedics and police – and used hydraulic equipment to cut a man and a woman free from one of the vehicles.
They were taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath with minor injuries including cuts and bruises.
