HARDLY daunted by jumping from 13,500ft, bartender Bethany Cribb cannot wait to hurl herself out of a plane to raise money for Melksham charity Wiltshire Mind.

Ms Cribb, who works and lives at Corsham pub, the Hare and Hounds, is raising funds for the mental health charity and her and three friends have collectively raised £1,200 so far.

On June 22, she will head to Netheravon near Amesbury for the skydive - an event she cannot wait for.

"I am just really excited. It is around my birthday, it is a treat for me, I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie," she said.

“It is something that runs very deeply within me as my aunty struggled with mental health and Wiltshire Mind helped her.

"The chance to help a charity that has recently touched so many that I know and have got to know over the last few months excites me.

"This is a great charity but I wanted to support a local one and this fits the bill nicely.

"I joked about getting sponsored for £1 per foot but that was not going well."

Wiltshire Mind is a mental health charity providing services to mental health sufferers across Wiltshire.

Chief Executive of Wiltshire Mind, Carolyn Beale, said: "It is brilliant what Beth is doing. We have to raise all of our own funds to survive so we are very grateful for her fundraising efforts."
