A WOMAN has been arrested for drink-driving after a car flipped on its roof in County Road.

The white Peugeot 108 overturned at around 9.30pm on Wednesday night and police and an ambulance were called to the scene.

Officers say the driver sustained minor injuries.

A South Western Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We got the call at 9.27pm to a single vehicle RTC and it was reported that the vehicle had overturned.

“The patient had managed to get themselves out. We sent one ambulance and a male was taken to Great Western Hospital.”

A Wiltshire Police spokesman added: “A 20-year-old local woman was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.”
